Question: Discuss about the Stakeholder Management and Experience. Answer: Introduction: The lessons presented in modules 1-4 are highly applicable to our experience of launching the group assessment (HR plan). From the Module 4, I was able to understand what it takes to be an effective global project manager. This was made clear since I got to know that it has become a commonplace for us to work with virtual teams. I was able to understand the reality today that even small firms are comfortable with the virtual teams due to their outsourcing operations to source healthier economics. We were able to appreciate that physical distance is no longer a barrier to doing business because of improvements in communications and technology. The virtual project managers, however, face come unique challenges. Via the examination of the rewards and pressures of the virtual teams and how levels of authority vary between physical present teams and virtual teams, we able to fully understand how best we could launch the group assessment, HT plan. Understanding the challenges in building t he circle of trust around the team especially when he group is dispersed geographically remained applicable in our experience because our work was based on group, and hence the need to override such challenges. As reflected in Modules 4 and 3, especially on Human Resource Plan, I understood the need to develop an organizational chart for the project team, a staffing plan and a team building plan. This chart was useful in ensuring that we remained focus on our scope to achieve the desired goals. The lessons presented in this subject on team building and management are highly applicable to our professional experience and careers. As clearly covered in Module 4, we able to fully understand how to build a virtual team using communication and technology. From here, we got to understand the challenges presented to virtual teams project managers and how to effectively mitigate them. In doing so, I was able to be a team player even in the face of challenges. This is applicable to my professional experience and career as I always work in team work to achieve the goal of the organization. I was able to grasp the effective strategies for the management of virtual project teams and effectively apply the strategies that motivate geographically dispersed and other kinds of virtual project teams. This is useful in my professional experience and career because it is the basis upon which I will be able to fit into any organization since I cannot work in isolation. Also, I was able to unders tand the how to develop and effective project team and team building plan. This is applicable to my professional experience and career because I will be able to apply this in my workplace to have an effective team that meets the project within the deadline. The lesson presented in this subject highly apply to my experience of working on group assessment (HR plan). I was able to follow through right from the requirements to completion of the HR plan. I appreciated the need to work as a team when work on the HR plan. Even though we faced challenges as working with different people become difficult, I was able to apply the learned effective strategies to build an effective team. This enable me to be competent and now I am able to work in organization as a team player to develop an effective HR plan. In my view, the lessons presented in this module of stakeholders management remain of great significance to my professional experience and career. The success of any organization is based closely on the manner in which they involve and manage their stakeholders. Thus in my career and professional development, I will be able to apply the knowledge drawn from this lesson on stakeholder management to create a sustained competitive edge in the organization I will be working for. This will make me succeed as I will become a well-sought after employee. I will thus be a happy person because of my productivity and the role I will be playing in managing each stakeholder for the organization. This will make the organization I work for succeed as each stakeholder, be it, a supplier, customer or government agencies would want to associate with an ethical business. Thus I will seek to ethically manage our stakeholders for the greater good of the company.
